Hyatt House Mall of America (MSP) - Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport

When I checked in, clerk found my reservation for 1 night, but couldn’t find anything on my 21 day parking that I paid for through you. Got the room, but had to wait for the manager to show up to find my parking reservation and confirm it.

Clean place and newly built. Nice pool in the basement and excellent breakfast in the morning. The shuttle service really ruined it for us though. When we got back I called for the shuttle and they said he was leaving right then and would be there within 20 minutes. After 30 minutes I called and she said he was still on his way and be patient. 10 minutes later I called again and asked her to touch base with him and after being on hold for minutes she said he was at the airport waiting for us. Another 10 minutes later he arrived. It ended up taking them 50 minutes to get there and when I asked the driver what happened, he said the front desk girl sent him to three other places before our stop. He was surprised that we were waiting long and acted like he had no idea. He then sat and complained the entire drive back about how difficult his job is and people need to realize this. The shuttle ride to the airport was better, but still left 15 minutes later than I had scheduled because they wanted to wait for another couple which made me arrive late. After speaking with the front desk girl about all this after my trip she said she was in contact with her manager but he was not there at the moment and I could email. I emailed them and never heard back, giving them plenty of time to respond before I left this review. Hotel is good but shuttle service was the worst I’ve ever experienced.

Hyatt House was a great place to stay z offering shuttle service to the Mall of America, airport and more between 6am-10pm. On our return trip home our plane was delayed. We contacted the shuttle service as soon as we touched down at the airport and their driver arrived within 20 minutes (about the amount of time for us to deplane, make a restroom stop and proceed with our carry-ons through the airport. The hotel was clean and staff friendly. Really a great price for cities stay, parking and convenience. We were in a room with a kitchenette, which would have been great for a longer stay.

Only issue with the hotel was we were checked into an incorrect room so we had to return to the desk when keys wouldn't enter the room. Facility was nice. Wished there was support for shuttle service when flight unexpectedly gets delayed passed the shuttle service at hotel.

Not enough staff. Took forever for check in. Etc

Shuttle was 10 to 15 minutes late to bring us to the airport and when we returned from our trip the shuttle had broke down two days before. We had to pay $40 for an Uber back to the hotel from the airport.

The hotel is nice a new. Unfortunately, due to it's young age, our airport shuttle needs were difficult to accommodate. We did book specifically to be able to leave our car and shuttle to and from MSP. Our flight left at 7 so we needed to be to leave for the airport around 5. The hotel didn't have a driver hired so we were offered to get a ride from a sister hotel shuttle. The only open seat was at 4 am. That was unacceptable so we had to hire an Uber to get us to the airport at the proper time. Our return flight was delayed by a couple hours so i called the airport to let them know we'd be arriving late. No problem, we just needed to call once we had picked up our luggage. We landed after 11pm, picked our luggage, then called the hotel for our ride. I was told that they're driver stopped making runs at 10pm. Luckily when I mentioned that they had had to use a sister hotel shuttle before, the hotel rep put me on hold to contact them. That did work and we were able to return to our car. The personnel I dealt with were great but had I known we'd have the stress and extra cost of having to find different transport to the airport and fight to get a ride from the airport, I would have found a different property.
