I chose Laquinta Bloomington West for the 24/7 shuttle service and proximity to the airport. Other park and flys did not allow parking for our 12 day parking required for our Alaskan trip. The best park of Laquinta West is your hotel front desk staff and shuttle driver. The facility itself is not in a great neighborhood with homeless people sleeping on the side of the building and walking through the parking lot. The longer parking is behind the hotel outside and unsure of security monitoring the cars. The hotel rooms were nothing fancy and in need of updating for stains on carpets, dings in wall paint. We just stayed there overnight going and coming back. The longer term parking, 24/7 shuttle and very helpful staff made this a cheaper, acceptable option.

I gal when we were checking in was rude and too busy not answering questions. The young man on the morning we were leaving was fabulous, The room is what was expected and breakfast was good.

They could not find my reservation because I had booked through State Park and fly. If you call them with a question they would say they get right back to you but then they never did. My son-in-law‘s OnStar went off on his truck while we were gone he called the front desk and they said they would go out and check on it. They didn’t even have his name or any information about the vehicle, they said they call him back and of course they never called him back because they didn’t even have his name or number I probably will not stay at this hotel again. I had to call twice for the shuttle. It was at least 45 minutes before they picked us up from the airport , and that was after we had our bags

Reasonable arrangement if you need to park your car for a week. MSP is a very expensive airport for long term parking. Very pleasant shuttle driver.

The shuttle to the airport was great. However, the shuttle back to the hotel had some problems. We went to the wrong shuttle station, and when I called the front desk an hour later He called his driver and the driver told him he had not been dispatched. I called a half hour later, and the front desk representative called the driver again and the driver stated we were liars because he had been there. The driver called me personally, and told me he did not know where we were at and to get an Uber. We ended up paying for an Uber to get to the hotel, although it was partly our fault because we were in the wrong shuttle station.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Our flight did not arrive until12:30 am, By the time we got to hotel it was almost 1:30 am. The housekeeping staff was vacuuming outside our room at 9 am. We went to checkout at 9:45 am and breakfast had ended at 9 am. Most hotels are 10 am. Front desk employees were courteous but unorganized.

While the hotel was not at capacity, those staying the night were all in the same part of the hotel. In the night we stayed, there was an extremely loud party in the two rooms next to us, complete with small children running in the hall outside our door (all were under five years old). They didn’t settle down until after midnight even after management came to the room. The shuttle from the hotel only goes out at the top of every hour. Upon arrival and luggage collection, we did call for the shuttle. Twice the switchboard at the hotel gave us the wrong location for pickup. We waited nearly an hour to be picked up because the shuttle only comes once an hour.

Advertised 24 hour shuttle but do not have. We had to get a taxi when we got to the airport at midnight. They offered to reimburse but only reimbursed for 1/2

There was no shuttle service at 3:00am even though you claim to shuttle 24 hrs a day! Very disappointed! Plus the room was very hot and we tried to turn it down but it didn't work!!

Overall it was fine. The beds are pretty small for our family of 4 though. There ended up not being a shuttle driver when we returned from our flight but the staff made it up to us and all was good.

We arrived back in the Twin Cities a little after midnight and when we called for the shuttle we were told the shuttle driver hadn't come into work so there was no shuttle. We were told to take a cab and we'd be reimbursed for the cost, but I haven't seen the evidence that has taken place, and my son, Lucas Olson, was told his payment didn't show up so he would not be reimbursed. Very, very, disappointed. It was no way to end the trip.

Comfortable stay. Left early so they gave us breakfast in bag to take along. Satisfactory place to park vehicle while gone. Overall good experience.
