Hello, I made a ParkSleepFly reservation at the La Quinta Inn & Suites Baltimore South Glen Burnie (near BWI Airport) in March 2024, for a trip from July 14-22. I have just completed that trip and I want to register a complaint with regard to the fulfillment of the reservation I had made. Prior to making the ParkSleepFly reservation, I called the hotel directly and specifically asked about the shuttle service to and from BWI Airport. I was assured that a shuttle vehicle would be available to drop me at the airport on July 14 and retrieve me on July 21, and the timing was not a problem -- that a shuttle would be supplied around the clock. On July 14, when I arrived at La Quinta Inn & Suites Baltimore South Glen Burnie, no shuttle was available, but I was told that the driver would be arriving at 8:00 a.m. At about 8:10 a.m., when no shuttle had appeared, I inquired at the front desk and was advised to "call an Uber", since the driver had not shown up yet. The desk clerk promised that I would be reimbursed for the Uber trip, and that promise was fulfilled. On July 21, my flight arrived at BWI at 8:15, and after claiming my luggage, I called La Quinta to request a shuttle pick-up. I was then informed that the shuttle service was only available from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and that I needed to find a cab or Uber or Lyft. I asked if I would be reimbursed for that expense, and I was told "no", since I was calling outside of the hours of 8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. The reservation email that I received on 3/26/2024 clearly stated that the Shuttle Hours were 08:00 AM - 10:00 PM, and Every Hour on call. I know that businesses are struggling to attract and retain workers, and that the policy quoted on 3/26/2024 was likely revised by the time of my trip, but I was disappointed with the service I received. In fact, I decided NOT to stay the night of July 21, as I had planned. Instead I retrieved my car and drove to my home, approximately 1 1/2 hours away. I notice that your Hotel Cancellation Policy requires notification by 06:00 p.m. on the same day of arrival. Obviously I do not qualify for a full refund, but I wanted to describe what occurred. If a partial refund could be granted, I would be appreciative. Thank you, P.S. On the survey, the true answer to "How long were you waiting for the shuttle" would be "It never arrived; no shuttle was provided at either the start or end of my trip." The 20 to 25 minutes response applies to the time I waited for a Lyft driver to deliver me to BWI airport. The trip back from BWI to the La Quinta hotel did not involve a wait, as there were airport taxis lined up waiting for passengers. P.P.S. I wanted to skip the question about the quality of the room and hotel itself because I ended up not staying overnight, but the questionnaire required a response, so I chose 1 star. P.P.P.S. If the cancellation policy was more lenient and user-friendly, I would be inclined to try ParkSleepFly again. But I think I would be less trusting that a hotel will follow-through on its commitment.

Place smelt like weed. And it took them 40 minutes to get me to my room. Also their shuttle didn’t run all night, so I had to Uber to the hotel after my flight which was its own set of problems.

When I called from airport for shuttle service, lady stated it was too late for shuttle service and hung up on me. Called back, rang a long time before someone else answered and told us to take the first cab we saw and they would pay cab at hotel.

When we arrived at the hotel they did not have our reservation for a room so we had to go to another hotel. After we came off the ship it was unclear how long it would be before the shuttle back to the hotel would take so we ended up paying for a taxi to take us to the hotel. Poor communication and a waste of $49 for the shuttle service.

The hotel was as expected but unfortunately the shuttle bus "was broken". We had to take a cab to the hotel which sort of negated the savings from the program. I am not sure how reliable the hotels shuttle service is and would probably not stay at this hotel again. You should add "shuttle did not come" from your drop down below.

Horrible! Hotel is not clean or updated. Every part of hotel is run down and unkept. Shuttle service to the airport was unorganized and poorly managed. To get to the airport, they said their driver had quit and wondered who would drive us. Van they used was dirty and old. To get picked up they didn't have a driver and promised to send a Taxi in 25 - 30 minutes. The Taxi never arrived until 50 minutes and three phone calls later. The taxi was filthy, smelled of cigarette smoke and the driver was wearing dirty clothes and not happy with the hotel working relationship.

This was awesome. We spent the night prior to our early 8am flight. There was minor delay to get transport at 6am, but the desk called for a taxi and we were on time. Return was fantastic. We called from baggage claim area and the shuttle was waiting at the door. This is excellent program that allows travelers to avoid the airport parking costs as well as enjoy a stress-free night prior to a trip. Thank you so much!

It was a little far from the airport. However, the overall experience was pleasant. On the downside, we had to wait for the shuttle (30 min.) to leave the hotel, even though a time was pre-set. And, no wake up call was provided even though one was requested.

In general, this hotel is great. The accomodations were very comfortable, and the breakfast was ample. The only issues were noise and the inexperience of the check-in agent on the outbound leg of our trip

From the hotel to the airport the taxi driver asked me how to get to the airport as he had no idea, it was 10 minutes away. From the airport to the hotel we waited 1 1/2 hours to get picked up. The hotel front desk was totally unorganized for the shuttle and taxi service.

The hotel has been upgraded and I think there are more improvements to come. Nice offerings on the breakfast buffet. The shuttle service to the airport was great and efficient, however, the pick up from the airport was very slow.

All of the staff at La Quinta Inn and the hotel policies were wonderful. The staff was very accommodating and made us feel welcome to use them while we were travelling. Sending the taxi for us after the hotel shuttle hotel stopped running was an unexpected, welcome touch. We'll stay there again if we have the need in the Baltimore area.
