The hotel is severely understaffed. There were three families waiting to check in upon arrival and no one at the front desk. We waited about 20 minutes before someone showed up to help with check-in, only after the shuttle bus driver came back to a full lobby and called the front desk person. The room was what I expected it to be. No disappointment. When traveling, I just need a bed and a clean room. Upon our arrival back to Portland, I called for shuttle and had to call 4 times before someone answered. Once it was answered she put me on hold. I finally got through at 4:45 p.m. She said next shuttle was at 5:30 p.m. but was hoping to get to us earlier. It was about 5:45 before she arrived. We learned from her that she was the only one working because the other person called out sick. When we got back, she had people waiting to check-in. Both of our shuttle drivers were extremely nice. My car was right where I left it and ready to take me home. I suggest finding a way to get more help for this hotel.

This was a horrible hotel! The staff did their best to be friendly, but the hotel itself was a total dive. I will never stay there again. Further, we had to call the hotel three times when we returned to PDX for pickup.

While the room we stayed in was nice the rest of the hotel was very run down. The workers were nice but didn’t always know what to do and breakfast was watered down everything. Also lights didn’t work in either room we stayed in

Check in was slow, the receptionist was short but polite, sheets seemed clean but the carpet needs cleaned or replaced. We had no towels in the room, I walked to the desk to request towels as we didn’t have time to wait for them to be brought up. I waited for 5 minutes while the receptionist finished with a phone call, then when she bought towels out, they were unfolded. She only brought 2 and there were 3 of us so I asked for another one. As she was getting another, I noticed one of the towels she gave me was either dirty or stained, and had to ask for another. I am not confident we got clean towels. Stairs up to the room need replaced. I had to call when outlet shuttle was supposed to leave, obviously waking the driver who came out rubbing his eyes, leaving 10 minutes past our scheduled departure time. On return, the shuttle only runs once an hour. It is scheduled for 30 minutes past the hour and arrived 48 minutes past the hour. We stood when we saw the shuttle coming and they passed us, driving to the end of the island. We walked to the shuttle and loaded our own bags on the back of the van that was already loaded with sheet rock, yep, sheet rock. It was 92 degrees and the driver had her window down, but no A/C. I wanted to ask about the A/C but was afraid to because of the demeanor of the driver. She didn’t say a word the entire drive, pulled into the parking lot hot, break checking as we pulled up front. We unloaded our own bags and were off. I was pleasantly surprised our car was without damage.

1st night (June 14th) 3rd floor, no elevator, car parked in blocked off area next to handicap park, so we had to squeeze between cars over big ledge to get to the sidewalk and no set area for park and fly to park ( was told to park out front by brick wall but it was full, some had to park on the side at the very end of the parking lot. 2nd night ( June 22nd turned into June 23rd after over 2 hour at front desk) landed at 10:00, called 10:25, got picked up 11:45, they couldn't find my reservation, said sorry we have no rooms nothing we can do, finally found reservation after me showing my email, them calling the manager to login to parksleepfly website, while on the phone with him someone canceled there room so we got that room at 2:00am, again 3rd floor no elevator, HEAVY door halfway down the hall, handicap room ( was fine with it being the only room available) I don't know how you can have handicap rooms on a 3rd floor with no elevator. Bathroom if your on the toilet you can't shut the door ( the door doesn't open all the way anyways, towl hook fell out of the wall next to the shower, no ledge on shower so whole bathroom floor gets wet and shower faucet hanging out of wall so loose. I smashed my toe on the heavy door half way down the hall trying to leave ( the breakfast was pretty good)

The hotel was located in bit of a sketchy area. Saw many "professional" ladies a few blocks away. However did not see any near the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room they gave me only had one bed, and I had booked a room with two beds. The lady at the front desk gave me a new room with no problem and apologized for the mistake. The room was clean and comfortable. We were supposed to get back early Friday morning and due to an emergency we had to extend our trip. I called and told them I could not pick up the car until maybe Monday, they said no problem we will make a note of that. My trip overall was terrible, and I ended up on Saturday flight that not get in until after midnight. I called and told the the lady who answered that I had just landed and was at the back of the plane and didn't think I could be at the pick up area by 12:30, the time of their last run. She assured me that they would still come get me and to call when I was at the pick up area. Overall the customer service was very good.

When I returned to pick up my car in their parking lot, my battery was dead and could not open the car door…an extremely nice employee helped me. I will always be thankful.

The hotel was okay. The room was cold until I found out how to turn on the heat. The driver when he dropped us off never told us where to go when we returned to be picked up. However the return driver made it clear where I needed to go so that helped.

Quality Inn is a med-range hotel that met our expectations. We wish the parking were more secure, but it is well-lit.
