Super 8 by Wyndham Portland Airport - Portland International Airport

We have used their service several times, and it seems more secure than others we have used with a fenced and gated area, in a good location. However this last time I did have to call twice to get the scuttle, which was not fun while standing in the cold. Just make sure they get you in the system.

This place was perfect for our needs

The room itself was beautiful and clean. However i was very disappointed in the staff. The receptionist was incredibly rude. She was not helpful at all. When i asked about signing up for a shuttle (that your website says runs 24 hours every 30mins) she was snotty about it, and said all she had available was 430 am. We asked about a 330am shuttle as out flight was scheduled at 5am, she said u didnt offer any and that your 4am was already full. This was very disappointing because of the information on your website was either wrong or your receptionist was lieing. She did ask about our return home and put our names down for the 10pm shuttle back to the hotel. Never once mentioning that u wouldnt be picking us up at that time. we later came down and asked if she could recommend a cab service because we needed to be at the airport no later than 4am. She rudely threw an old book at me and pointed to a page of numbers.

Everything adequate. I like having the microwave in my room. The recent remodel is starting to look dirty...hall rugs, room rugs, bathroom corners...grungy already.

The hotel was ok. But the shuttle service was not good. When we checked in they were already filled on the time slot we needed- so we had to wake up at 4:30am instead of 5am- with a 2 and a 4 year old that made a big difference. Then, on the way back, it took them 35 minutes to pick us up- and there was no traffic- on the way back (6 minute trip). They clearly just made us wait until another group also called.

We always use your hotel when we fly out of Portland, Or and makes our trip so much easier to. Only complaint had was they put wrong date for our return and had trouble getting our car. Rest was terrific and will use it next time we fly.

When I arrived I was told there was no room on the first shuttle at 4:00AM I asked them to call a cab for me I was in the lobby at 10 to 4:00 no cab by 10 after 4 they made room on the shuttle for me. My car was not parked in the secure lot for 8 days since there was no room in the secured area. I will never stay at super 8 again anywhere the worst customer service I have ever been exposed to.

Not fancy, but always clean. Fenced parking is reason we always stay here as well as proximity to airport.

Our experence was great

The hotel itself was nice, and most of the staff were friendly, however the woman that checked us in the night we arrived was very condescending. Also on the website it says the airport shuttle runs 24 hours. When I asked about this I was told the shuttle did not run between 2 - 4 am. This was a concern to us because our flight was scheduled to arrive at 1 am, if our flight had been late we would not have the shuttle.

I would like to thank the hotel staff, the young man at the desk when we were there helped us with some thing that came up, and went out of his way to help us . I would stay there again .

Helpful at desk, friendly staff, satisfactory room.

Room was average but clean. Shuttle service was on time. Car was secure. Complimentary breakfast was available, and I was offered coffee at the end of trip before returning home. I would use again.

Hotel clerk and shuttle drivers were friendly and answered my questions well. Good customer service after a long flight is valued.

No elevators my husband is disabled, had to drive around side of building to unload luggage on our own and go through security door that would not latch shut. When I booked the room I asked for King when we got there they said they have no King beds so we got 2 queen beds. Although room was cleaned when we got there but didn't feel clean since the motel is older and not updated. I did not get the name of the shuttle driver taking us to the airport, but very nice and helpful with our luggage and got us there in a safe and timely manner. Leon picked us up at the airport very nice young man and got us back in a safe and timely manner kudos to them.

While Super 8 doesn't have fancy bells and whistles, that's great because all I want is a comfortable bed and clean accommodations before a big trip. And that's just what the Super 8 at the Portland airport supplied. We are very pleased with our choice and look forward to next time.
