On a positive note, when I first made my reservation, I made a mistake on the date and had to make a second reservation. To the hotel’s credit, A clerk called me immediately to ask me about the double reservation and we cleared up the confusion right away. This is five star service. However, that was the lone positive about this experience. Our family has used park and fly before but never at this hotel. We will never use it again. The hotel itself is cheap but fine - as expected. The staff was friendly, however, when we were to go to the airport for our departing flight, the driver was 10 minutes late picking us up and there were not enough seats in the van for our party of five, an additional party of three, and the driver. Hence, 8 passengers rode to the airport with a driver who seem to think nothing of the situation. Upon our return, we waited 45 minutes from the time of my first phone call to the hotel until the same driver showed up to take us to retrieve our car. I’m not exactly clear on why this took so long as the hotel had our flight information, date and time of arrival or where the communication breakdown occurred. This is unacceptable.

We were unable to contact the motel while in Jamaica to inform them of our flight delays. We utilized the customer service department for the motel and they were unable to help us and not very friendly.

We had a terrible experience with your hotel. When we arrived we were told there was no hot water in the rooms. We were just staying overnight so that wasn't a huge problem. but when we got up to meet our shuttle in the morning, he never showed up. (We had made arrangements with the front desk the night before for the shuttle) I got his phone number from the desk clerk (who never offered to call for us), called several times but only got voicemail. The front desk didn't have a working phone so he couldn't call. In order to catch our flight, we realized that we needed to drive our car to the airport. We barely made our flight because of the shuttle disaster. We arrived home last night and had to pay a $96 parking fee from the airport garage. We realize that unexpected events occur and we respect that. But this was exceptionally poor service and was a miserable way for us to start our travel.

spacious room, comfortable bed, clean room. Front office did not wake up call us at requested time but we had our phones as back-up so did not have a problem.

The hotel itself was not bad. But we relied on the hotel for the shuttle service. And this was a problem. We had set it up with the staff to be picked up at 3:00 am and it never came. Apparently it was a 24-hour taxi, not a hotel run shuttle (which is what I had experienced before with other Burlington hotels). The night clerk didn’t know why they hadn’t showed, so he called twice with no answer, just left messages. My wife called a third time and the cab driver said he never got a call to pick us up. We don’t know who to blame, but the night clerk did get us in his personal car and took us to the airport. We made our flight without issue but this was stressful and not the service we paid for. The hotel policy is to keep your keys- which we abided but felt that a little strange. Upon return, we were instructed that, a car would not be waiting at the airport due to unforseable possible issues with flight times- and that we should call the hotel upon arrival and they would send the car. I called 2 hours ahead from JFK to let them know we looked to be on time. The woman at the desk told me I was to call the taxi when we landed. I said I was not told that and why should we be responsible for this when we paid for the service? She got snippy with me and said she would call them. Fortunately, the taxi was there for us. He was nice and helped with bags but the cab van was in poor shape and the door on one side wouldn’t open from the outside. It smelled and many warning lights were illuminated on the dash. All told, we would not choose this service again from the Days Inn in Shelburne VT. The overnight clerk was nice.
