La Quinta Inn & Suites PHL Airport -Free Breakfast - Philadelphia International Airport

I was only there for a few hours to sleep before a very early morning flight. I left before breakfast. The room was clean and fine for my purpose. No coffee machine. Shuttle service to the airport was easy. Hotel staff were very nice. Return shuttle took 20 minutes. Other shuttles were in the way and my driver and I were blocked from seeing each other but he called me and we connected.

Great, clean accommodations.

Hotel staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately our room had an odd smell to it.

Our reservation was for La Quinta and the day of our trip I got a text from the saying that we were moved to Holiday Inn Express due to a problem with the parking lot at La Quinta. That was fine. The HIE hotel was satisfactory and the shuttle to the airport the next morning went off without a hitch. BIG PROBLEM though when we returned home. I called the number I was given and was told the shuttle would be there to pick us up in 15-20 minutes. After half an hour I called again and was told it would arrive in 15 minutes. We continued to wait outside in the cold. A HIE shuttle came past us but the driver said he was full and we had to keep waiting. WHAT!? After another 20 minutes I called again and the receptionist was not very pleasant and said it would be at least another half an hour. So that would mean we waited almost an HOUR AND A HALF. This is in no way acceptable. I told her to forget it, we would use a taxi to get to the hotel to get our car and I am called my credit card company to dispute this charge because waiting almost an hour and a half after a long flight home was not what we were told to expect. She said "Well you do what you have to and have a nice night" and hung up on me. We hailed a taxi and within 10 minutes and $22 were back at the hotel and in our car. To say this was extremely poor service is an understatement and I will be disputing the charge on my credit card.

Basic amenities; no restaurant//lounge.

Hotel had all necessary amenities.

Hotel was clean, check in was easy, and included breakfast choices were fresh waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels, and cereal selections.

We were transferred to the Holiday Inn Express because of parking situation. Liked the Holiday Inn, huge parking lot and clean.

Hotel itself was good. We stayed one night on each end of the trip. Pickup at the airport on our return was OUTSTANDINGLY PROMPT. We did have to wait for a second shuttle on our way to the airport - surprising as we were first in the lobby - many others showed up. Don’t hesitate if departure time is tight.

Hallway noise was an issue. We heard everyone walking down the hall-there’s no sound barrier. Otherwise it was fine.

La Quinta changed our parking to Holiday Inn Express so we accepted sleeping at Holiday Inn Express. Everything was great.
