Have stayed at Hotel Del Sol previously. It works ok for us

We've stayed at the hotel del sol before, tried another Phoenix hotel with Parksleepfly and said NOPE! We're going back to the Hotel del Sol!

Convenient location. The hotel has tried to make a nice renovation and updated look but the quality of the handy work is definitely lacking. Cute lobby, great patio area. Will use again.

I had a comfortable soft bed, plenty of hot water and a quiet room. The staff was great. I will stay again.

Great location, great deal, clean, very nice hotel staff. The reason I didn't rate it higher is the room temperature was too warm and could not be cooled down any further. It was a very hot day in Phoenix, but I didn't expect the air to not cool the room properly. I'm going to actually book again though for a trip I have planned in September, so I'll be giving it another try and hoping the room is a more comfortable temperature for sleeping.

Wonderful little hotel near SkyHarbor Airport. Beds were a little hard for my tastes, but were in excellent condition. Room had a minifridge, enough plugs to charge your devices and a nice desk and chair. We will be staying here again. The hotel will order Lyft to get you to and from airport.

Facility very attractive, clean and modern. Out of step vs virtually ANY lodging by the absence of both in-room refrigerator and coffee maker. No shuttle they provide free Lyft ride, which may take time to arrive.

Arrived after 4:00 PM and room was not ready. They switched us to another room which only set up to handle 1 person, 1 towel, 1 wash cloth.

Upon arrival, there was no clear signage of where to check in. No one was in the area, I walked in and out several times, finally after several minutes someone walked into the room. He was a very nice young man, the lobby was dark and he was not very helpful. When I asked to use the restroom he stated for me to use the one in my room.... ‘it would be easier’. After rushing to the room, I noticed the room was also very dark with hardly any (one) picture on the wall or any decoration. The room was very small, and shabby, chipped paint, torn rug, tv cables hanging down the wall. Because the room was so small there were only the basics, no coffee in the room and the towels were rough as cobs. At bedtime, I discovered there were no black out curtains, so when the hall lights came on after dark, the room was lit like daylight! I stuffed pillows and towels into the super small window in an effort to darken the room. When I mentioned to the girl at the desk the following morning, she said ‘yeah, we get that a lot). The bed was so hard, I barely got any sleep at all, woke up stiff and sore. Sleeping in the bed can only be compared to plywood, on concrete, with cardboard for padding. The one pillow I kept on the bed was just as flat and hard. When I went down to the lobby the following morning, in search of a cup of coffee and a ride to the airport, the girl charged a $10 fee to my room for a Lyft ride. Which was very fast and efficient. I gave this hotel 2 stars because, the room and premises did appear clean and secure. I will likely never stay at this hotel again, nor would I recommend it to my friends. I was very excited to find a place where I could park and fly close to the airport but I will have to continue looking for a comfortable hotel.

I would of give it 5 stars but I had the people next door to my room partyed all night long and it sounded like they was inside my room._ how everything the lady that checked me in was and so was the guy that help me when I got back

Very small room. No plugs for phone except 1 in bathroom. We have stayed here several times, but did get a very small room this time. The front sek staff person said his alarm had nor gone off, so our wake up call scheduled for 3:30 a.m. did not come until 4:00 a,m, Luckily, we had set our phone alarm..... no clocks in room. then, the gps system the desk uses with the LYFT ride they supply to the airport, took us to the American airlines office building, not the Terminal 3 at the airport. I had to direct the driver where we wanted to go. This also happened when we returned at Midnight. The driver called me to see hoe to get through the corporate gate. I told him to come to Terminal 3 to pick us up. When I arrived at the hotel to pick up the car, I told the staff person of the problem and he simply said that was the only option given to him. I said "You better figure out another way to list it to get your customers to the airport and not the office building!" Quite frustrating!

we loved the price and location from the airport. The rooms are too dark. we only had one table light and 2 over head lights that were on one side of the room. we tried to move the lamp, but non of the plugs worked on the bed side of the room. But that side of the room had the chair, so couldn't read, knit, etc. paint the rooms a lighter color, and add more light. thank you
