La Quinta Inn Oakland Airport - Oakland International Airport

Accommodations were as expected for price range of hotel. Staff was friendly. Parking lot has tall iron fence around with gate attendant who verifies people coming in are on his list of hotel guests. The area is horrendously full of homeless people and drug addicts so security is needed. This is just the nature of the airport area.

A nice clean hotel with security staff. The surrounding area includes homeless living in Rv’s etc. Unfortunately just a way of life around the Bay Area.

Great staff at front desk. Delightful young men! My only complaint was shuttle did not begin running until 7 am… too late for our departure. Had to use Lyft

Clean and good breakfast.

Clean and neat. Elevator a little scary with loud noise and sudden "bump".

Great hotel for park and fly

This is a great place to stay when you have an early flight at Oakland Airport and need to leave your car there for 2 weeks (you can't beat that price vs. paying for airport long term parking). It's an older hotel and the room smelled musty like it used to be a smoking room but other than that the accommodations were average. Bed was comfy and served its purpose as we were only there to sleep, tv worked great. The breakfast was actually pretty filling and had a good number of options and staff were helpful/friendly. The staff that shuttled us out and back were fabulous. They were quick to get us and very friendly. The shuttle service with this hotel is definitely 5 star. Thank you!

This is a great no-frills hotel for travelers who need one night or, like us, a park-n-fly hotel. The staff is great, the room is clean and homey with comfortable beds and good linens. I was looking for just this type of hotel, and La Quinta fits the bill perfectly.

The hotel, parking and morning breakfast were all fine. It was a disappointment to find out that the shuttle service that was supposed to be offered had been discontinued due to covid had not been taken off of the ad so I would know I had to arrange for my own transportation to and from the airport.

The quality of service with the staff was 5/5. The room was 4/5. We could smell marijuana inside our room and outside the hotel. The street in front of the hotel looked like a third world country with the homeless trucks, buses, etc. We got a ride to the airport but when we got back from our trip there was no shuttle service available and we had to take UBER from the airport to the hotel which costs me $25.00. We will not stay at this hotel again. I was very disappointed with the Park Sleep Fly this time around. They will not be my first choice when looking for lodging and parking in the future.

The staff at the hotel were very hepful, the room was good, they took us to the airport-good service, but they wouldn't pick us up there service stopped at 11pm. The problem is I called 2 days earlier and asked them if I needed to make other plans...they (the hotel) assured me we would be picked up. When I called they flatly denied that they pick up anyone after 11pm...we had to cab over

No shuttle service. Neighborhood looks like a war zone. On the plus side, the room was pretty clean. I've been in worse. Do some research when selecting what hotel they refer you to.

staff and room were great as was shuttle service and pick up from airport. outside of hotel grounds though are so many decrepit cars and motor homes housing homeless street living and are is dirty and concerning when coming to hotel. the breakfast sandwich wasn’t good..yoghurt and granola bar might have been better for grab and go breakfast.

Not at the fault of the hotel but the homeless encampment across the street I will not use this establishment until this changes. We arrived at the hotel at 10:30 no shuttle service cost 30.00 for taxi this should not of happened

This place is a nightmare.

The hotel needs serious help. The street location itself feels unsafe, the secure fences broken and the hotel just rundown and tired. Staff was good though.

We left the hotel, cars were tagged with graffiti. Street lined with homeless encampment. Room carpet filthy the smell was overwhelming. Guests hanging out in stairwells, dirty and did not feel safe. Expected better of La Quinta. Did not use phone service or shuttle

the price was right, staff were great (i spoke to a Kathy on the phone to address a couple questions after reserving, and she was SO NICE), and the free breakfast looked real good (unfortunately lines were ridiculous at the airport, so we didn't get a chance to eat the breakfast as we didn't have time to heat it before we left the hotel). room was pretty uncomfortable, lowest toilet i've ever sat on, but it got the job done as a place to sleep. we had to take the shuttle to the airport at the crack of dawn and didn't have to wait for the shuttle at all, they were just ready when we were. location is extremely sketchy, but i removed everything (EVERYTHING) visible inside my car and put it in the trunk, and all was intact when we returned after midnight when we got back from our trip. they have you sign a waiver saying the lot is unguarded, but both leaving and returning there was in fact a guard working, so that made me feel marginally better. i might not pick this place again unless absolutely necessary, but it served its purpose for us. thank you!

It was significantly different than the last time I used it. Very down trodden. Elevator numbers gone, lights broken out, noisy, uncertain, and dirty. Homeless encampment outside the fence. It was suggested that I park under the lights right out front. I used to park behind the building. No shuttle available. The night clerk helped me put an app on my phone so I could get a ride to the airport. When I returned I was told the shuttle was broken so I paid for another ride to get to the motel

La Quinta was perfectly fine. The road its on has many homeless RVs and wrecks which are concerning. Hotel is well fenced and our car was safe from any tampering. The homeless need a place to be rather than on city streets.
