Candlewood Suites DFW Airport North - Irving - Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport

Room was nice. However this hotel offers shuttle service but it’s first come first serve. We had to hire an Uber because the 4 am shuttle was full and it only runs on the hour and not before 4 am.

Nice, clean hotel close to the airport. Quick check-in/checkout and easy to coordinate the shuttle service. The shuttle driver was very prompt! We have stayed at other hotels close to the airport booked through ParkSleepFly and this hotel has been the best one. Will definitely stay here again!

The hotel charged an extra $55 and has yet to refund my money

Great! Clean & comfortable. The kitchenette was an added bonus.

Shuttle only ran every hour to go to airport. When picked up, waited almost an hour. Van used did not have adequate space for luggage for 6 people or can capacity. Drivers were not very friendly.

If I could give zero stars, I would. First, I tried calling 7 times on my way to the hotel without anyone ever answering the phone. Upon check in, we were given the last room available, despite having a reservation. The bed, the floors, the sheets, the pillows, the duvet cover were all soaking wet as if someone had poured a mop bucket over them. There were pubic hairs all over the toilet, when we called the front desk, the manager said if I came up he would give me different sheets to clean our bed for ourselves. I will NEVER ever stay at this location ever again. Go anywhere else.

Hotel: I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights total, once before my trip and a second night after my trip. Very clean rooms in both cases. The location of the hotel was very close to the airport and on the second night I had a room that was at the edge of the building and the parked FedEx jets were in view from my room window. I could hear the jets taxing during the night. There is no breakfast included, nor is there any food available anywhere near the hotel. There is a coffee station, but it was really bad. No non-flavored creamer available and the cup lids did not fit the cups. When I went to check out there was no one available at the counter, just a sign stating that there was no one available and to just leave room keys at the counter. So I was not able to get a final receipt. I had made this reservations several months ago. The hotel made a mistake on the reservation by changing the date to an earlier date, then charged my credit card for not showing up. The hotel contacted me and told me about the error and credited my credit card for the charge. For future trips I probably will not stay at this hotel again. Pickup from the airport: When I landed I called the hotel for pickup and was told it would be around 35 minutes for the ride to show up. Not a problem, I understand that it can get busy. But they didn't tell me was that the vehicle would not have the name of the hotel on the side door. It turns out that my ride showed up earlier but since they didn't have the name of the hotel I had no way of knowing it was my ride. I did get a call on my cell phone by the driver, but I was not able to clearly hear and understand him. So it took about 50 minutes to get connected to my ride.

Hotel was nice. We paid for parking with transportation to airport. Did not get transportation to airport due to the fact that they only had ONE shuttle that held 6 people at best and it only ran once per hour. We were with a group of 13. We asked if they could make more than one trip to the airport since we had a large group and they told us no. We had to spend $92 round trip for taxi to get to the airport. They should not advertise they are a shuttle service to the airport when they are not. It would be nice if they would reimburse our taxi fees since they were incurred due to their limited shuttles and misleading advertisement.

I selected this hotel because the website advertised 24 hour shuttle, and I knew we needed to go to the airport at 4:00 a.m. and return from our trip at 12:30 a.m. There was no problem going, but when I called for a pickup on the return trip, I was told that the manager changed the rules, and there were no pickups after 12:00 midnight. We had left our car for 11 days, and we certainly did not know that when we left. That caused us an additional wait, plus the cost of a taxi for four ($35.00) and a $10 tip for the taxi attendant at the airport. I could not complain to the manager, for he does not work on the weekends.

No breakfast, but otherwise very nice facility. Biggest problem was we had a late night flight and their shuttle service stops at midnight. So...........it cost another $30 to get a taxi.

Everything was great. The only issue was the size 9f the shuttle. I was 1 minivan and there were probably about 15 of us expecting to ride it.

The hotel was fine. The shuttle service - terrible. We were able to leave the hotel on time but trying to get a return to the hotel was impossible. After 4 calls and waiting an hour and a half, we finally had to pay $35 for a 5 minute taxi ride to the hotel. Another customer was in the lobby that had experienced the same thing. Don’t go here unless you want to pay extra money and wait forever.

Room was nice, check in was easy. However, the shuttle service was terrible. They don't have their own van but share with other hotels. This hotel was the last pick up before heading to the airport. We were lucky because we got the last two seats on the van. On the return, when we got to the pick up point at Terminal A, I called the number they gave me at check in. The agent asked if I could hold for a minute. 10 minutes later, still holding. My wife called, same response. After 45 minutes, I called again but quickly said "I need a pick up at Terminal A" The agent said she had to check in 15 people and put me back on hold. Luckily, about 15 minutes later the van came by, not because of my call but he was following his usual route. Total wait over an hour in 40 degree weather.

The hotel was great and the staff was very inviting and accommodating! The shuttle drivers were very efficient and helpful and we had a nice overall experience!

Great for 1 night stays.

Ok, this was the first time we did this, the concept was amazing, hotel was very accommodating for us as well with information when we checked in. We asked for the instructions when we got back to make sure we didn’t miss the shuttle, and were told to call the hotel when we got our bags and just tell whoever answered we needed the shuttle and at the door for baggage claim that we were at. This was incorrect, as we were told after calling we had to locate a purple pillar, of which there was none anywhere close to us, so we were told to just turn right and keep going until we found it and call back when we found it. We did this and then waited another half hour or more for the shuttle to get to us. Our driver was nice enough, but seemed to be racing another shuttle, almost missed a turn to the hotel, slammed on the breaks and then proceeded to damn near flip us over trying to make up for the turn like we were in a vehicle used for drift racing.

Clean and easy to get to.

I was nervous about the location but the hotel was clean and the rooms exceptionally comfortable and fresh. My car stayed behind the hotel for 5 days and everything was good with it. I even had to leave a suitcase viable in the trunk. Very happy.

Very friendly staff. Clean room. The shuttle driver dropped me off right at my gate. Didn’t worry about my car. Great experience!
