Room is terrific, morning coffee great, breakfast hot food needs some help

My room was nice, fresh and clean. My check in process was easy. Shuttle in the morning to the airport was seamless and was right on time. The problem happened when I tried to get the shuttle back to the hotel from the airport to get my car. 32 minutes waiting for the shuttle to first pick up people from the Mall of America then head to the airport to get me. The driver was very nice but I will never wait like that again.

First, no mention was made of the road construction going on which led to a really confusing entry to the property. This hotel is honestly very nicely appointed and the staff in general are nice. Upon arrival, they could not find my reservation, even when providing my reservation number. I was told there was no problem because they had plenty of rooms which was mildly reassuring since I didn’t want to be double booked. The rooms were clean, quiet, and arranging hotel shuttle to the airport was easy. Drop off went smoothly. Upon return, things got more disappointing. My flight was delayed. We called to the hotel to explain the situation and we’re told that the last pick up is 10:30 pm (despite the language stating 11 pm). I did not feel comfortable taking a cab or Uber by myself at 12:30 so I had to pay an extra $200 to stay at the IHG at the airport. When I phoned for pickup stating that I arranged to be dropped off at 11:15 at the airport by IHG (which I was), I was told by the this property that I had to call when I was waiting on site. I explained the situation from the night before and that the purpose of my trip (father needing emergency surgery), that just wanted to get home to my family, and didn’t want to wait another hour. They refused to send anyone until I called from the airport. And lo and behold, guess how long I had to wait before they arrived- one hour. The drivers were nice and courteous. Overall I can’t recommend this property for Park Sleep & Fly because the limited shuttle service hours led to an extremely stressful (& needlessly expensive) end of an already exhausting and draining trip.

The hotel was clean, the shuttle easy to use and on time, the rooms comfortable. The front desk staff was not only helpful and courteous, but when I realized a day after check-out that I’d left some items behind in the room, I called and Andrew was helpful in locating the items found by the housekeeping staff in the room. He made sure they’d be there when I returned a few days later. When I arrived after my return flight on 8/8/21 to pick up my car, the gal at the front desk had my items ready for me. Everyone I encountered was wonderful. Shuttle drivers were pleasant, helpful and on time.
