Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Elk Grove Village O'Hare Airport - O'Hare International Airport

The staff were friendly & very helpful. Room was clean, bed was comfortable . Breakfast had a good variety of choices to eat. Parking was right outside the main entrance with good visibility of the vehicle. Shuttle driver was very helpful, friendly. Made the extra effort in making the trip enjoyable.

The hotel is functionally actually further away from the airport than indicated, because it is in the back and so the shuttle has to drive around the airport which takes 20 minutes or so. Other than that all was good!

The hotel itself was fine, but the shuttle from the airport back to the hotel was a complete disaster. We had to call the hotel several times. We talked to two different employees. We were never told we had to wait for the shuttle at terminal 2. We waited well over an hour at the airport at another terminal (we had told them which door we were and we were told the shuttle would pick us up there). When we were finally told we had to get the shuttle at terminal 2, the driver was particularly rude and disrespectful to us. She didn’t even help us load our luggage. She acted really aggressive and rude to us, I’m not too sure why, I guess because she was upset she had to wait for us at terminal 2 while we were waiting for her somewhere else. She was passive aggressive and purposefully made us wait in the van for a few minutes before she started driving. When we finally got to the hotel, the receptionist never apologized for the wait and for not communicating to us we had to go to terminal 2 and for the driver’s rudeness. To make things worse when we finally got to our room, we couldn’t open the door; we had to go again to the front desk, and had to wait again (we were beyond exhausted at this point after a long international flight) for the staff person to come and show us how to open the door (the door handle was installed backwards and had to be lifted up rather than down). Again no apologies for the wait and inconvenience. The pool was okay but the water felt dirty and was cloudy. The chlorine odor was super strong and unpleasant.

The hotel was fine. The room was quiet and clean. The shuttle service to the airport was great, but when we came back, I had to wait over an hour for the shuttle. This was very frustrating as I called before flying, after landing, and multiple times afterward waiting for the shuttle driver. According to the hotel, he wasn't answering his phone. All in all, I would never stay here again. I was told I would have to call in the morning to discuss the issues, which is just poor customer service.

The shuttle driver,Luis, is outstanding! He is very conscientious, friendly and helpful! The hotel staff was great. The room was quiet and dark, the pillows were nice. The breakfast was really good for a hotel breakfast. She had shredded cheese and salsa for the eggs. The potatoes had were not just plane potatoes. There was bacon and sausage to choose from, and the juice was delicious. We also enjoyed having breakfast in the courtyard. Is now our choice for PSF!!

The hotel was ok and the clerk the night we checked in was excellent. We ran into problems on our return. We called the hotel repeatedly and no one ever answered the phone to send the shuttle. We eventually took a taxi and had to pay $40 bucks to get back to the hotel. The clerk on duty stated that she had been there all night and never heard the phone. She was not apologetic and did not offer to refund our taxi. I will not stay here again.

The hotel was a great stay and I felt comfortable leaving my car in the hotel parking lot for 2 weeks! The front desk staff was very kind, and our driver Luis was excellent. I would definitely stay again and use the ParkSleepFly process!
