The Crowne Plaza stay was so much better than our last stay at a Chicago O’ Hare hotel. The hotel was bigger, cleaner, and the shuttle more convenient. We were even able to walk to a nearby restaurant.

The hotel was nice, clean and comfortable. Shuttle to the airport was great - right on time. Shuttle back to hotel after we landed was not. Waited over 30 minutes for the shuttle. Another couple also going to Crowne Plaza had been waiting even longer. Also, the waiting area for the shuttle pickup at airport is outside in the sun and it was 95 degrees!

This hotel was fine for a stay before flying out the next morning. The shuttle to the airport was about 20 minutes late. We also had to wait quite awhile when we returned from our trip to get on the shuttle. I called the hotel, as instructed, once we were ready for pickup- but no one answered. The line just kept ringing. That was very frustrating!!

The hotel is great and service at the bar for food and drinks was great. This was the first time of many that we were disappointed with the shuttle service. Desk did not answer our phone call for pickup from the airport for about fifteen minutes. Finally someone answered and told us Marriott would take us. We had to talk to the Marriott driver for a ride. And the person at the desk was not pleasant, just gave excuses for many phone calls.

The driver of the bus drove like he was absolutely crazy!! He has not heated the bus up. He told us en route to the airport that he came on shift at 12;00 noon and he wasn’t not coming in early to warm the bus up. It was basically our tough luck it was a cold bus or we were welcome to find other means of transportation to and from Lambert Field. Extremely poor customer service!!!

The hotel was nice and Chris was very welcoming. Tony, the shuttle driver, was exceptional and brought my phone to me when I had left it behind at the hotel. The reason for the lost star is that we had a very early flight, and didn't get our wake-up call causing us to miss our flight. We had set our own alarm as a backup, but this failed as well. Not sure what happened with the scheduled wake-up call and this set us up for an anxious morning and a late arrival at our destination - luckily the airline was very accommodating and got us off asap.
