The hotel was beautiful. The room was very big. I didn’t realize I had booked a handicap room, but I felt bad when we first got there they didn’t have our reservation. They sent us to the other hotel. Their hotel didn’t have a reservation we went back to the original hotel. They found our reservation. I booked nights they could not accommodate us on our return flight. They had already sold our.

The hotel is very clean, comfortable and modern. The staff was friendly and professional. It was wonderful being able to leave the car parked while away. The shuttle service was on time and the drivers were friendly.

Will stay here again the next time I plan a trip. The hotel was easy to find, plenty of room for parking, extremely friendly and professional staff. The shuttle and curbside service made our transition to and from the airport stress free.

Great experience at DT Pittsburgh. Got me to my flight early, picked me up when I arrived home. Only waited 10 minutes. Hotel was clean, staff was excellent. Next flight out of Pit. I will stay at DT.

I am giving a 3 star solely on the experience when we got back to the airport from our trip. We stayed at Doubletree Tree Hilton the hotel and staff were great. The shuttle to the airport was great. When we returned to the airport from our trip we got our luggage, went to door 8 and called for the shuttle. The lady said shuttle will be there in about 20 mins it's an orange Hampton Inn van. An hour later the van showed and we had to go drop off a guest to the Hampton Inn first before the van would take us to the Doubletree. As we pull into the parking lot there sat 2 parked Doubletree shuttles not being used.

The rooms were clean but could use updating. We had asked for a wake-up call and they failed to contact us. As a result we were 1 hour late for a departure to the Pittsburgh Airport. They called for a shuttle from another company and told us it would be there in 5 minutes. 20 minutes later and several trips back into the hotel at reception desk, still no shuttle. The shuttle through the hotel came and he did not want to take us saying we were scheduled with another company that the Hilton called. We finally told him we had to get to the airport. When we arrived at airport, we had to use curb service for luggage at which we had to tip the gentleman and when we went inside to go through security there were so many people that the security guard let us through so we didn't miss our flight. We are very disappointed with this Hotel and were very frustrated. We feel the hotel should have compensated us for this inconvenience and grave mistake on their part.

Shuttle driver almost left without us. I called from the airport when we got in - we were waiting at the correct door - all the other shuttle drivers we driving up and past the doors- driver stopped way short of the door and we didn't see him until he was driving away - we chased him down. He had another couple in van - who apparently had not called and he thought they were his couple. I would have been really upset if we had to wait an additional 30 minutes for him to come back around.
