Perfect location for the Newark airport and cruise port Bayonne. Very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk and car parking staff were so helpful. I really appreciate the friendly staff!

The reason we chose this hotel was for the park and sleep portion, then get shuttled to the cruise terminal. That aspect of this booking was excellent. However, the hotel itself was a nightmare. You walk in and smell moldy/musty air, and our room was so unacceptable. Initially I noticed small rubber bands everywhere on the floor. The kind used for making small braids in hair. That tells me the floor was not swept properly. But the blood on the sheets, blood on the floor by the bed, and the foreign substance on a chair were disgusting. I called the front desk about the blood, and they were going to switch our room. At this point we were showered, in pajamas, and unpacked. We asked for housekeeping to come change the sheets. When she arrived she acted put out. We thanked her. It wasn't until morning when we noticed the blood on the floor and the dirty chair. We left feeling just as dirty. Shuttle back was cramped and no ac.

The Best Western Newark Hotel is located in a hard to find location in an industrial part of the city. After trying to find our way to this hotel we finally pulled into the parking lot which ha adequate parking but was cramped and hard to maneuver. The lobby was dark and looked nothing like the pictures on the web site. The front desk staff were very friendly and seemed accommodating. They explained how to get the car parked and take the shuttle to our cruise the next day. This hotel also had a full service restaurant and after the difficulty we had getting to this place, we decided that would be our dinner choice for that evening. The room was very large however it was not very clean, the bed was sagging, the sheets were stained and dingy looking and there was stuff under the sheet and mattress between the dust ruffle that I can't even describe. There was also a dried stain running down the back of the head board. The room was just gross. But we were sort of stuck there at this point. The bathroom was okay and everything worked. I just didn't want to put any of my personal items in contact with anything in this room. The dining room was pretty mediocre and the drinks were over priced. About 2 am we heard loud people in the hallway right outside our room and figured the drunks were coming in from New York City. We were just waiting for banging at our door which fortunately never happened. The next morning check out was easy and the shuttle was there at the correct time. When we returned from the cruise, the car was parked in a gated area and there was no damage or issues with that which was a concern considering the location of this hotel. Since I'd never used Park Sleep Fly before I was not aware that I had other hotel options in Newark such as the Hilton etc. Stay away from this place. It was not inexpensive and really not a place you would want to lay your head. I bagged all the clothes that I had while in this room and they went straight into the laundry when we arrive home. It just made me feel dirty.

Best Western Newark Airport has been our "go to" when cruising out of Port Liberty. The hotel staff is friendly, professional, and helpful. The on site restaurant is convenient and offers a great variety of drinks and dinners. The shuttle is such a nice service and I am glad to have our car parked at the hotel for the duration of our trip. The two gentlemen that drove the shuttle at the beginning of our trip were great representatives for the service and hotel. The woman that drove the shuttle for our return was complaining about the dispatchers working at the port coordinating the returning cruisers on everything from how they loaded luggage in to her van, the fact that we were returning to the hotel to pick up our car and others in her van were going to Newark Airport, and flat out called them stupid.

We have stayed at BE Newark 4 or 5 times with PSF. Accommodations consistently good, location is great for both airport and cruise port. Shuttles are handy and we'll done

Nice hotel for the 2 nights we were there. Great shuttle service to cruiseport. On the way back, shuttle was there, BUT we had to wait over 30 minutes for it to leave because we were the only 2 on it. FINALLY, 2 more people came so he took us because I said I was just going to take a cab because we had a 10 hour drive and I thought we had been patient long enough. He kept saying just 5 minutes more, 6 times !!!!!

The website was user friendly and easy to use. However, specific logistics and questions were not addressed on the website which forced me to call the facility a number of times before my travel date. Each phone call produced a variety of responses to the same questions, which caused even more confusion. Upon arrival, the hotel itself was fabulous - staff was friendly and attentive to each guest. Guest rooms were ample, clean, quiet and comfortable. Shuttle service to the cruise port was prompt, reliable, on-time and the driver was super nice in explaining points of interest along the way. The long term parking area appeared to be secure, safe, well lit and I felt comfortable leaving my vehicle with the facility. However - - Shuttle pick-up from the cruise port was another story. After being directed to a specific area, I was later told to move to another location. Waiting another 30 minutes, I decided to ask the person in charge where I was really supposed to be. Finally directed to the correct area, I was immediately escorted to the last seat available on the shuttle back to the hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel, the shuttle could not drop us at the front door due to the inability to turn the vehicle around. That left three of us with nine pieces of luggage standing at the corner of the driveway, requiring an uphill and uneven walk to the front door - with no help in sight. Collection of returning cruise line passengers and logistics of the drop off service back to the hotel certainly needs improvement!!! Not sure who designed the hotel parking lot, but they did a terrible job in providing only a one way entrance with no drive around to exit. Everyone must turn around in a tight spot at the end of the lot. Very POOR design!!! Aside from the negative pick-up ordeal, I was VERY pleased with the hotel and long-term parking area. I will choose Best Western Plus Newark Airport for other travel needs when in the area - but will certainly be mindful of the poor shuttle pick-up logistics!

Our first cruise from Cape Liberty included 10 family members all traveling from Marylabd. We were relaxed, didn't worry about details and appreciated the service.

have stayed at this hotel with PSF four times now. The staff recognize me even though it is only every two years. Great concept; service and people are the best. We will stay there again.

We actually stayed at the Wyndham Garden right next to the Best Western. They were having an issue with water and moved us there at no expense to us.

The staff was teriffic. The hotel appeared to be newly renovated. We ate supper at the hotel bar and while the menu was limited, the food was very good as it was for the continental breakfast the next morning.
