Hawthorn Suites Milwaukee Airport/Oak Creek - General Mitchell International Airport

Room was extremely cold. Bed very uncomfortable. Upon return, had to wait more than 1/2 hour for ride back to hotel/car. When driver arrived, trunk was full of junk so had to cram suitcases in seats. The window of the car had also fallen down, so sat behind an open window when it was 15F outside!

Nice big room, comfortable. Lots of extras in the room.

We were there for 2 hours before we went to bed, so I cannot rate the hotel as a whole as I did not see it all. The room suited our needs (comfy bed!) and they had coffee in 4:00 morning, which was nice!

Everything worked out to our expectations.

Hotel is fine. Just wish they had a restarant/bar.

Very impressive....the rooms (all of them - I asked) feature appliances, some dishes, etc. and close proximity to the parking area. They are clean and well-maintained. Staff members were most friendly. There is a very nice restaurant/bar less than 200 yards from the hotel. No hidden charges. Price was reasonable. I believe the Hawthorn is now my top choice for future Milwaukee park-and-fly adventures. I was actually invited in for pizza by the shuttle driver when I arrived back in town to retrieve my vehicle! How cool is that!

The hotel was clean and very nice. The restaurant next door was very good. Victor the shuttle driver was very nice, easy to talk to and it seemed like he was there in no time. Would stay again.

The staff were very helpful and pleasant but they didn't seem to know much about the mail drop off that was offered.

Clean, quiet, comfortable & well maintained establishment. Easy access from street. Plenty of parking. Room and public areas looked and smelled fresh. Breakfast was available, but was not used by us due to VERY early schedual (5:30 am Saturday departure from hotel w/ Bfast open at 7:00am). Extended stay format, but lacked an oven; for this trip, it was not an issue. Windows had a standard roll down shades with an additional blackout shade - nice touch! Quick, courteous & efficient airport shuttle service, geared to serve the customer’s schedule as reasonably as possible (aside from obviously not being able to be in 2 places at once). Shuttle was onsite for us within 15 minutes of our call. Had we just missed his pickup cycle for another customer, I would have estimated a 20 minute wait time. This is more than real-world reasonable. Our arrival front desk person was friendly & polite lady. A pre-call when we first were considering Hawthorn’s P&F was with a man who gave incorrect airport parking info. Tried to be helpful, but had his facts wrong. Overall value breakdown: Normal Expense- - - [$8 (MKE supersavor rate) x 7 Days = $56] + [ $75 (standard Hawthorn room) = $131.00 pretax Park & Fly & Stay- - - $120.00 for same terms SAVES $11.00 PLUS Adds a warm ride from Hotel to Departures Drop Off, and from Baggage Claim to Hotel.
