Candlewood Suites Milwaukee Airport - General Mitchell International Airport

Would stay here again! Clean rooms, clean hotel, friendly staff, easy shuttle service to and from airport!

The gal that was working when we checked out on 6/6 was not very friendly like she did not want to be there. Even though our room had a refrigerator/freezer, we were surprised to see that there was not an ice machine available to us. There was not any ice in the freezer. I think the room could have been a little bit cleaner. I saw a bill of some kind laying on the carpet below the curtain. On the bright side I have stayed in worse.

Would possibly stay again. Staff was great, room was adequate and we'll stocked. Big hole in bathroom door like someone had smashed, kicked it in. No pool, but a good fitness center. I should have looked further to see about a pool. Car was well cared for.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HOTEL !!! If there was a ZERO for rating, I would have rated them 0 !!! First off the lady at the front desk was VERY, VERY, RUDE !! I have no idea why, since I was very polite while checking in. I then went up to my room and did my regular bed bug check. I pulled back the sheets and on the very torn mattress pad, I found blackish/brown specks like they were some kind of bug. I then looked at the mattress same thing. Not a lot, but enough that I would NEVER SLEEP IN THAT BED!! I then saw a HUGE HOLE in the actual mattress, that looked like someone took roping to try to see it up!! Still had another hole on the mattres!! Also some kind of clear plastic thing between the box sprin and mattress ! Lady at front counter was even MORE RUDE, she sent housekeeper up to look at the mattres. The house keeper said they put those clear plastic traps or whatever they are under ALL of there mattresses. I checked out, told the lady at the front counter that I didn’t want to transfer to another room. I just want my money back, and find different hotel. My advice, DONT EVER STAY at this CANLEWOOD SUITES close to College Ave and S. 13th STREET !!!

The hotel overbooked and expected 4 people to share a queen bed even though we booked 2 double beds. The staff was rude, our toilet was broken and we were told there was nothing they could do about it. We ended up switching hotels. Worst service ever

This is such a stress free way to travel. Arriving the night before our flight, we usually go have a nice dinner and relax after all the rush of getting packed for the trip etc. Upon returning, the shuttle is right at hand after a quick call to return us directly to our car. There is no drudging luggage from distant parking lots and paying high parking fees. Highly recommend.

Candlewood Suites was actually more than I needed for a 1 night stay. Staff were welcoming and helpful. The Shuttle Driver was prompt, engaging and helpful. I'll use the service again.

We ended up not staying at the candle wood suites in Milwaukee. They contacted us the day before and told us they over booked and would be putting us up in the hotel next to them at no cost for this inconvenience. The hotel was not as nice, however we appreciated them contacting us before we arrive so we would be prepared. Overall the experience was very good.

Everything was wonderful thank u!! We will be back too visit on our next vacation

All was great! Desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Quiet room. Our vehicle was fine when we returned. When we returned from our trip, our call to the shuttle was answered promptly; however, we needed to wait for 30 minutes, because 12-14 other travelers had requested pick-up at the same time and there was no room for us. The driver returned immediately for us when he was available. He was very apologetic.

Front desk clerks were kind of weird, she also had us booked in another room which we were unaware of till the following morning. Room was very nice. I would stay here again.

Hotel was nice

I booked for family of four, 2adults and 2 kids. My reservation clearly stated 4 people, I even called before leaving my destination to tell hotel staff I will be coming late at night. When we arrived at 3 am they gave us a small room with one bed it took some time to sort things out, not too pleasant between 3-4 am with too small kids

Prompt shuttle service to and from hotel.

Could not access internet with lap top, which was very important to me. Wasted hours of time. For this reason will not stay here again.

Personnel were friendly and helpful. Donuts in the lobby held off hunger until we reached the airport...lol! Shuttle drivers were courteous and helpful.

Candlewood was excellent. Staff was extremely accomodating and friendly. Truly top notch. The shuttle driver, I believe her name was Marilyn, was the best we have ever had. Truly helpful and friendly.

When we arrived at the airport late Saturday evening after a long day of travel, we called the shuttle company and they said they would not be picking us up as they had a "special pickup" to do. He directed us to an airport shuttle service, which we had to pay for and wait for a van to arrive. Kind of a headache to do after all the traveling.
