Wingate by Wyndham Raleigh Durham Airport - Raleigh–Durham International Airport

Had a great experience with the staff , the hotel , the shuttle and the parking while I traveled .i will definitely use this hotel and service for my future travel needs .

Average room. Comfortable bed. The shuttle driver who transported us to the airport was very personable.

Room was dirty

Hotel Clean. Staff friendly. Was not happy that a Shuttle was not available after 1 on weekends, thus had to pay Uber. Had I known I would of picked a different hotel

Room was in need of upgrade, and deep cleaning. The carpet was sticky and bathroom floor left my feet dirty. There were stains on window curtains and walls, furniture was beat up, big hole in middle of shower curtain, duvet cover had a tear, and I can’t be certain the bed sheets were clean as they were not pulled tight like a fresh made bed should be. Bed pillows seemed more like a throw pillow. The staff was friendly and they do have a shuttle to take you to nearby places. Shuttle was quick to respond.

The hotel could not find my reservation to respect me, providing a reservation number. It took the lady 30 minutes of looking around to find the paper copy of the parking ride reservation. They did not have normal rectangular pillows in this hotel, and the square and I did not feel safe as there was a man walking around the hotel with a very large knife. My Shuttle service on the weekend and at 1 PM.

Check in - The staff didn't seem to be able to find the parking information, when I was reserved, asked the same information several times, seemed confused on what steps to take, was intimidated by other waiting guest so asked me to step away and was rude. Driver to the airport was very prompt and helpful. On pick up from the airport, called twice as driver went to different terminal.

Confusing that there were about a dozen folks outside the entry door, seemingly hanging around, some were smoking. Had reserved a room with 2 queen; beds, but upon checking was told no rooms with 2 beds remained( that wasn’t good at all as a female friend and I were flying out the next am and needed TWO beds) Was given a “suite” with a bed and a pitiful excuse for a sleeper sofa. The sleeper sofa had no bedding other than the sheets on the 2 inch uncomfortable mattress. I couldnt Call the front desk for a blanket as the phone in the room did not work. Felt we had been given the “haha” hotel room. There were 3 positives 1) the hotel had complementary paper The Epoch Times, which is the best print paper in the USA. 2) the shuttle driver that morning was exceptionally pleasant showing excellent customer service 3) we arrived back on the 18th 10 minutes before the 11 pm end of the shuttle service, but desk clerk rounded up a driver to bring us back to the hotel to pick up my car.

We had to take taxi back to hotel when we returned. Shuttle service not provided after 1:30 PM on Saturday. Hotel should not be listed on your site since they have such limited shuttle hours. Will not use this hotel again.

The guy at the front desk was a complete jerk at check in. He was not friendly or nice at all. He told me I didn't need to sign up for the morning shuttle to the airport and that the airport was 15 minutes away, which is not true. The. The next morning we were asked why we didn't schedule the shuttle. He also didn't give me a room number or keys and when I asked about it, he acted like I was in the wrong. He was just a jerk. Thank goodness the shuttle driver was awesome!! Just wish there was a shuttle available past 1 pm on the weekends. We won't be staying at this hotel again.

The manager on duty acted bored to answer our questions He was only interested in charging our card an extra 50.00 in case I assume we destroyed the room. We were informed that they would not be picking us up on the return trip because they didn’t have service after 1 in the afternoon

Prompt service...good location. Hotel clean, but not new.

Old no updated. Lamp shades crooked in room. Chairs worn out in common eating area. Eggs were cold. Wasnt notified that the shuttle stopped running at 1 PM on weekends. When i called the hotel for pickup i was told i would have to get a cab or uber. VERY ANNOYED as i had been traveling all day and wanted what i thought i had paid for. I couldnt select below that the shuttle did not pick me up.

Hotel staff was very helpful after Parksleepfly did not fix my changed reservation after 3days. I arrived with no reservation and a no show fee thanks to Parksleepfly.

There should be more emphasis that the Wingate does not provide shuttle service from the airport after 1:00 pm on weekends. Upon our return (appx 6:15pm)I called the hotel for pickup, was told to go to zone 3 to wait for the shuttle. After waiting more than 30 minutes I called the hotel again. This time someone different answered and informed me there was no shuttle pick ups after 1pm, that I would need to arrange my own transportation. It would have been much better to get that info on the first call rather than wasting 30 minutes waiting on the shuttle. I did go back and read the desctription of the hotel after getting home but have never had this issue when using PS&F in the past. Maybe when there is shuttle exceptions it should be highlighted in the hotel infromation OR staff should make you aware when you are being taken to departure.
