Nice Motel. We stayed the night before flying out. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a great hot breakfast. The TV did not work, and the soap and shampoo dispensers were empty. They gave us shampoo and soap but did not know what was wrong with the TV. But still a nice place to stay for a night.

I was very disappointed in the shuttle service. When we were picked up and dropped off at the hotel we were short one price of luggage. We had to drive back to the airport to search for it. A little later we got a call from the shuttle person who actually found the luggage in his car. Very frustrating. We then had to drive back to the hotel to retrieve it.

The room was dirty. There was no Tv until a guy came and hooked it up. We called for the shuttle to pick us up and were told it was not working. Would not recommend !

Hotel room was not clean, dirty on the walls, mold in the bathroom, cigarette butts in the window sill.
Staff was nice and the shuttle service was prompt and good.
They request that you leave your keys with them which was unsettling but you can work around that if you ask to park in their lot in a certain spot.

The hotel itself was a bit sketchy. The room had recently been updated but it was noisy and just overall not a great experience. It took over 30 minutes for the shuttle to come pick us up. Our car was safely stored at the hotel during it trip.

Room was clean and the car was fine for the 14 days that we left it. We used this option to go to Union Station in Chicago. We couldn't find any place to park downtown by Union Station so we stayed here the night before we left and Ubered to Union Station the next day. Since we didn't use the shuttle, my answers for the shuttle below don't mean anything. Also did not use the live chat service.

Sketchy neighborhood. Let me start by saying the lot was full upon arrival. I parked in an overflow lot. They asked for my keys which I thought was weird but assumed they were going to move my car into the main lot. They did not. When I returned my car was in the same spot. When I started it up it was apparent the catalytic converter has gotten cut off my car. I went in and asked if they had cameras and they said the cameras didn’t cover the part where I was parked. No apology and no offer at money back…$2,500 and a week of driving with a car that sounds like a dump truck. I won’t ever stay there again. Beware.

Would never recommend this hotel to anyone. The room was outdated and smelled like smoke. My family didn't sleep at all that night because a group of people was outside of our room drinking and talking loudly all night. Cars racing up and down the street ALL night. Absolutely the last place I'd recommend anyone staying at.

It’s been updated but it was lacking basic things in the room like adequate blankets and the curtains let in so much light from the parking lot it was almost impossible to sleep. And the shuttle service forgot us so we had to call numerous times and wait almost 30 minutes. After a long day of travel and delays, this was not welcome.

My room was average at best. When I called them to pick me up at the airport no one answered the phone. I tried calling them for 90 minutes without anyone answering the phone. I final had to take a cab to the hotel to get my vehicle. When I arrived they said their phone was not working. I will never use this hotel again.

Nice place to stay if you need to fly out of Midway. The shuttle was ready when we needed to leave for the flight. Once we landed, we had to wait about 15 minutes for the shuttle to arrive once we contacted them which was the appropriate time considering the distance.
The room was acceptable and the beds were very comfy.
The parking was a bit cramped at the motel but they have a couple of extra lots around the hotel that they can use. We had to leave our vehicle keys in case they needed to move our vehicle.

Very convenient for our flights out of midway! The hotel room itself is nothing special/kinda rundown, but staff was organized and prompt. The shuttle worked out perfectly. Overall a smooth experience!

Great price and location. Very friendly staff. Hotel and courtesy van is old and worn. They offer free breakfast but they were not well prepared. The food was good, sausage patties, eggs and hash browns, along with cereals, toast, bagels, sweets. juice and coffee Unfortunately we had to wait at least 10 minutes for the hot items (in the middle of their breakfast service time) . They ran out of coffee and sweetener and no one was coming in to check. A water dispenser leaked water everywhere and we had to go tell someone.
Although everyone was very friendly and helpful but due to the lack of attention to details, tight parking, and old facilities, we will not be staying here again.

The Carlton Inn is all we'll ever need when flying out of Midway. It's an older building in an older part of town. But the rooms are updated, and the people there made all the difference.
Right off, they made us feel like family. This includes the shuttle drivers, desk staff, and all the other employees. The free hot breakfast was more than adequate. The best part was that our car was cleared of all snow, and delivered safely for our drive home.
