Hyatt Place Tampa Airport/Westshore - Tampa International Airport

everything was great, with the minor exception of the room itself. Just a little "tired"; could use a refresh

it's a little pricey, but very convenient. staff is great. room is ok, but getting a little tired/worn out

I've been overnighting at the Hyatt Place Tampa Airport Westshore for at least 8 years. It's not a fancy hotel but it is comfortable and there is breakfast every morning. Parking is in an open lot but it works. There is an Olive Garden across the parking lot from the hotel which makes dinner easy. (there are other restaurants too but I prefer Olive Garden). Now that they use Lyft for shuttle pick up, shuttles are quick and easy. I will keep going there when I have a morning flight out of Tampa International Airport.

Covered parking would have been better for multi-day parking.

The hotel and its staff were more than satisfactory. Kayli, especially at the front desk was very helpful. Despite that we had to leave at4:00am for an early flight, she told us the desk staff wld provide breakfast foods when we departed. 6th floor room was satisfactory, despite construction, which saw saw little of. We will definitely stay there again.

The hotel staff was very nice and accommodating but the room could have been a little cleaner. Other than that everything was great. Easy check in and on time rides to and from the airport! And our car was in the same shape when we got back as it was when we left it there! I would do this again.

Hotel used Uber instead of own shuttle. Brilliant!

Good experience

Hotel was very nice, staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and comfortable although, they could use more bedside electrical outlets. Last room I was in only had outlets on one side. I sleep with a CPAP and the outlets were unfortunately on the less comfortable side for the machine. Breakfast was pretty good although, I stay at a lot of Hampton's and I think they do a bit better with the breakfast selection.

Room was nice, big and clean. Small bar on premises. Excellent staff interactions.

Perfect in every way

The only problem we had was with the shuttle service. It was nonexistent. However the hotel offered to send us an Uber when we needed it. We booked 3 rooms and had 6 people. We stated this mutltiple times. But the Uber provided could not accommodate us. Going to the airport, we sat on each others laps and held luggage on top of that because we wanted to get to the airport in a timely manner. On the return trip. the hotel was informed that we need a 6 passenger with luggage van. The Uber that arrived was for 4 people max. We gave up, sent 4 people in the provided transportation and hired another Uber for the other 2 people and all the luggage at our own expense.

Just a one night stay to catch a flight. Hotel is clean and staff friendly and helpful. Skyler was working alone at the desk and still gave me full attention when needed. Only difference to the park & fly literature was there is no shuttle. Hotel gets you a Lyft driver to and from the airport. Also said there was a restaurant but there was no sit down restaurant. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance around the hotel. All worked out well

So easy! We stayed both on the way out and the way back. Best smiling front desk staff we have seen in a long while.

We were very satisfied with the stay at your hotel and the parking arrangements. Room was large and clean.
