As it is a shared shuttle with the other hotel near by look for the LOGO of HOTEL 1550 on the white classic shuttle bus SAN BRUNO SFO AIRPORT WEST HOTELS. Make sure you be at the island across the terminals and look for sign Hotel courtesy shuttle area and be at the pick up spot at least 5 minutes before the shuttle time.

The Hotel 1550 is situated in close vicinity of the San Francisco International Airport. The hotel has great excellent connectivity to the major roadways which include Hwy 92, Hwy 101, Hwy 280, and Hwy 380. The San Francisco Airport is around 2 miles from the hotel. To avail of free round the clock shuttle service to airport, just ask at reception. A range of shopping and dining centers are available at a few minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel provides free parking to guests. Rooms are tastefully decorated and are fitted with refrigerator and microwave. Every room has free high speed wireless internet connectivity. Shuttle service to airport runs daily every hour from 4:05am - 11:05am, then again from 3:05pm - 11:05pm only. Hotel 1550 was a great choice for our recent trip. We dropped the car off and caught the shuttle to the airport. The process was quick and the staff friendly. They invited us to have a cup of coffee, tea or juice while we waited for the next shuttle. Upon returning, the shuttle was easy to catch and once we got to the hotel, we were quickly checked in to a lovely room. The beds were comfortable and overall the room was just right for us. We enjoyed a quick breakfast the next morning before heading for home. We will definitely come back for our next trip out of SFO.

The room was clean except for the mold on the bath mat. It was fairly comfortable and easily accessible. The noise from the airport is pretty loud at night.

The hotel was in better shape than I thought it would be at the price point. It felt clean and safe, I wasn’t worried about my car while I was gone because the grounds felt secure and there were surveillance cameras around the parking area. The pizza/pasta place across the street was convenient and tasty. Good value for the price point. The high marks on this review are due to the good service and the appropriate accommodation for the amount paid. It is not a three star hotel, nor did I expect it to be. The place seemed well kept and cared for by the owners. I’d use the park/sleep/fly service again next time I fly out of SFO, much less stressful. Only ‘less than’ comment: I’d recommend a little less carpet freshener or whatever the scent was on the third floor, it was a little much at first.

Clean, comfortable, convenient, friendly. I would recommend this hotel and service to anyone flying out of San Francisco early in the morning. The parking was a bit pricey but secure and our car was a bit dirty but otherwise in perfect condition. The morning shuttle was on time and the return shuttle arrived when promised.

This was one of the smartest ideas I ever had. For just over $200, I parked my car for 11 days, slept at the hotel and had a shuttle pick me up at 5:00 am for a very early flight. To me, that is a great deal. It would have been nice if there was a restaurant or bar in the hotel, but the very nice man at the desk gave us close recommendations and even greeted us with wine! We flew back to San Francisco too late to get the shuttle, but we took a cab back to the hotel and got there quickly. And does someone wash your windshield when they know you are coming home? It seemed like it. Thank you!

The hotel is close to the airport but a little tricky to get to if driving. The location feels safe, and the parking area is right behind the hotel. Not too many eating places within walking distance - we drove a few blocks south to Millbrae. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Morning breakfast is better than average. Rooms are a little dated but good linens and bed very comfortable. Shuttle bus is pretty basic, but was on time and the drivers were friendly and helpful.

Perfect hotel for our 1 night stay before an ewely.flight our of SFO. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Since we were leaving so early in the morning, we were going to miss the free breakfast. So, the staff provided us some prepackaged pastires and fruit ahead of time which was extremely appreciated. Rate was very reasonable and we parked our car there for 2 weeks while on vacation. Great hotel, would definitely stay again.

A very nice hotel that offers such a great service. So convenient for travelers to keep their cars ready when they return from their trip. Conveniently located to restaurants, not to mention the airport. The shuttle service is fantastic!!
