SpringHill Suites by Marriott Miami Airport - Miami International Airport

The hotel and their inside staff was great. The only reason I gave less than 5 was because of how incredibly rude the shuttle driver was and how uncomfortable he made my daughter and I. When I got to the hotel I was instructed to call the driver. I called and stated that we needed to leave at 3:30 am. He responded “there’s always one”. He gave us directions to call him upon arrival and asked for our flight Info. Per his directions, I called after our flight arrived and we had collected our luggage. When he got to the airport, he opened the trunk and sat there while my daughter and I struggled to get two large suitcases in the back. I tried to close the trunk, not knowing it was automatic, and he started screaming at me “no no no no!” (Then get out and help me). When we arrived at the hotel, he asked us where the car was parked and drove towards the general area. My daughter said oh it’s right there as we got next to it and he very shortly said “I don’t know where ‘right there’ is”. He did get out of the car at the hotel and stared at us for a tip. Which I was prepared to give, until we had such a poor experience. He was honestly so standoffish that I almost called an Uber rather than call him to come get us at the airport.

The Marriott Spring Hill Suites were horrible. When we called them to pick us up at Miami Airport, they either didn't answer their phone, answered and put on hold for 15 minutes then hung up, and then mailbox was full. We finally took a cab after we realized several people were also waiting and no shuttle came. At the hotel we asked what happened, the manager said they were busy and said the shuttle was a courtesy and not guaranteed. They would not reimburse us for the $25 cab fare. BTW there were at least 4 shuttle busses parked in the parking lot. I will never use your hotel again.

The hotel was nice and clean and liked the parking available however wish the shuttle ran more frequently. We ended up taking a cab back for our car as we waited for more than 30 minutes and were tired from travelling. Other than that would use park sleep fly again.

Very clean, easy registration and checkout, left car for week while on a cruise.

Hotel was spotless and very welcoming with fresh popcorn for guests. Staff was pleasant & helpful( special shout out to Daniel and Peter). Very professional handling of shuttle; when full for two of the time periods needed, a Lyft was provided for me instead, at hotel expense. The bar/ cafe had good food for an on the go menu. Again, staff was great, handling multiple responsibilities. Since I live approx 4 hours from Miami I often use Park, Sleep Fly. This hotel is by far the best.

Nice hotel.

Convenient to Miami Airport. Took shuttle to airport. We chose to take an Uber on return because we would have had to wait 45+ minutes for next shuttle run. Shuttle runs on the hour and we just missed it. Overall it work great for us.

The hotel and staff were very nice and attentive. We had a light dinner in the bar which was good. The room was clean and nice. Our only complaint was that the shuttle only runs every hour on the hour. This is not an issue when leaving the hotel for the airport, but is from the airport back to the hotel. In our case we had an hour wait so decided to take an Uber instead.

We got there too late for the shuttle and had to take a taxi. On check in found that instead of the two beds requested, we had a king room. Not ok for friends of opposite sex. The hotel was full and no other rooms available.

Neighborhood was safe and a great Italian restaurant a mile away. Shuttle runs on the hour so used Uber back and forth!

we had some kind of glitch with shuttle service. waited at airport bus stop for over 90minutes. unsure what happened, but not happy with service we received. People were pleasant to deal with, but unacceptable delay. Hotel was very nice.

Room is large but Furnishings are old. Shuttle only runs once an hour. When we returned had just missed airport shuttle and told it would be 40-50 minutes. Ended up taking a $40 taxi to hotel.

pretty sporadic checking-in, staff at the front desk was not well informed on the deal, other staff suddenly began to dust ceilings, vacuum rugs, wipe furniture without any consideration that people and children are around, nobody could clearly say how an airport shuttle run, etc etc etc. Our room was not ready at 3:45 pm either

The hotel is clean but dated. The beds were quite comfortable. The included breakfast was not good. The breads were stale, eggs and sausage were served in a foil pan on a Bain Marie. Very unappetizing. Other clients were also looking very dissatisfied . Probably would be better to leave it as not included.

Excellent customer service

Shuttle service was excellent outgoing. Return was poor. I was not informed about meeting place, and had to struggle with a large bag in and out of sidewalks and traffic lanes to get to shuttle stop 7. I came out of baggage claim at 3. After pick up we u turned, to retrieve late arriving passengers, we stopped at 3 to get them. I was annoyed that the front desk said I had to be at 7 when the shuttle went right by where I was and stopped there for others. The driver did not assist me entering or leaving the van. I am 76 yrs. old, however a nice flight attendant from Aruba Air assisted me. The van was over the hill and my seat belt did not work. The strap was knotted, indicating awareness of an issue. I am unsure if I would recommend or use again.
