Red Roof PLUS+ Miami Airport - Miami International Airport

We enjoyed a very good experience with RedRoof Plus+ Miami Airport. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious. The shuttle to the airport was prompt. The only unfortunate event was the return shuttle suffered an accident so we had a small delay. No problems though at all. We called RedRoof and they promptly set us up with transportation with another shuttle!!

We stayed 2 nights, on separate reservations, before our trip. It took about 30 minutes to get checked in; one of the staff was on the phone most of that time, possibly because of the police action that was happening. This hotel is really rundown. The room itself was clean, but the carpet and furnishings were tired. The hallways were dirty, as were the stairs. It seems there are issues with a number of their guests, as the police were there when we checked in and again when we left. Two police cars the first time and three the second. We called about the shuttle after about 35 minutes; it came about 10 minutes later. Two of the fellows at the front desk were great—one was a Colombian guy and the other a 19 YO. It was cheap though, with tax, about USD 175 for one night with five days of parking. We would not stay again.

When we booked the description stated airport shuttle but when we checked in we were told that the shuttle didn't start running until 10am?!?! What hotel shuttle starts at 10? Very disappointed and if we would have known we would have stayed at another hotel.

The room was very “tired”. Outdate and very sort. Communication with staffers was very poor regarding our pickup from the airport. Resulting ina significant delay and having to schlep everything to another location after waiting for almost an hour and several phone calls with repeated incorrect information.

I had to chase 2 spiders out of shower and there was no soap in container. Otherwise, beds were good.

Waited from 720 to 915pm for shuttle. Made 3 calls to reconfirm the shuttle schedule and when he would be passing by...NO ONE showed up until 930 after I HAD TO CALL to have someone ACTUALLY SHOW UP. very disturbing since I had a 3 hr drive home...hate driving in Miami especially. At night.

Had a great stay before our trip to Aruba. Hotel staff were wonderful. Clean room and will definitely stay there next year. Parking was safe and secure. Shuttle was wonderful to the airport.

Worked out great. Hotel was clean and nicer tham expected. We did have some trouble checking in to park car and also checking in for stay on return but they figured it out. It seemed to be a training issue.

The room and front desk were fine but the shuttle from the airport to the hotel was awful. I waited almost an entire hour before I got picked up and so did everyone else. We had all been told by the hotel that the driver comes every half hour. He told us he only comes every hour. We were all very tired. It was 10PM before we got picked up. Also, I tried and tried to call the front desk and they did not answer. I called 4 times. Also, I ended up getting double billed for my hotel room and had to call a manager to get it corrected.

Hotel desk staff was extremely helpful and solved the major issue that I had with my reservation. Hotel shuttle service was good except for a long wait at the airport when we returned from our trip. Hotel itself was good and as I expected it to be.

Rooms in need of some tender loving care and maintenance. It is obvious that they are a very busy hotel with flight and cruise traffic and I'm sure the turn over does not allow for much time to take inventory out of service. But routine maintenance needs improvement. Our second night room stay (room 131) had a toilet whose handle nut had been stripped and the handle just hung outside the tank. The electrical outlet by the sink was hanging outside the outlet plate. We made note of that on the tip envelope so hope those issues were corrected.

Highly recommend this hotel.

Noisy hotel. The doors can be heard slamming up and down the hallways, acoustics are horrible.

The hotel over booked the parking spaces for the final night of stay. The front desk threatened my son that if I left the car where I finally found a spot (the guest checking in) that it could be towed. The hotel is also on the direct path of the airport. Each flight takes off directly over head. You can actually see the end of the runway from the hotel. Since the chance of my car being towed overnight, and it was already midnight, I decided to drive home instead. Won't book again.

No hot water,, huge line (25-35 people) at breakfasts, gave up and went to Denny’s
